The School currently has a wide range of students from Libya, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, Maldives, France, Germany, Jordan and Yemen. The School is sure that international students will find their experience to be both rewarding and enjoyable.

Entrance requirements for postgraduate study are not rigid. In general, we are pleased to receive applications from candidates offering any qualifications equivalent to a good Honours degree from a Malaysian university. You may also be admitted to a course at postgraduate level on the basis of other appropriate qualifications and/ or relevant professional experience. The Graduate Management Admission Tests (GMAT) is also a requirement for candidates to study at GSM-UPM.

We have wide experience of qualifications from many countries. If in doubt about the equivalence of your academic background please contact us. If you write to us please ensure that you list the course or courses that you are interested in as well as your existing qualifications.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

All international candidates from countries where English is not a medium of instruction must have obtained a minimum score of 550 for TOEFL or 6 for IELTS.

A candidate without the requisite minimum score for TOEFL or IELTS may be granted a provisional admission.

An applicant who has given a provisional offer of admission to a Master's or PhD programme will be given full admission ONLY after the applicant submits proof of achieving the minimum TOEFL or IELTS score.

An applicant without the requisite minimum score of TOEFL or IELTS will be required to pass an English Placement Test conducted by UPM. The provisional offer will be withdrawn if the applicant fails the Test and therefore will not be accepted for the Master's or PhD programme.
